A bone-afide (!) breakthrough!
Scientists have successfully created human bones from scratch in the lab for the first time. According to them the bones are just waiting to be inserted into human flesh. What’s even more impressive is the claim by those same scientists that modern medicine will be able to replace any bone in the human body within a decade. Does this mean that diseases like Leukaemia will cease to be such a...

Starting stages of paper edit
Must be in three parts-beginning. Will be hard to decide-have to choose the beginning in terms of narrative. Doc must also have an ending. Aristotle in the Dramatics said that the beginning is ‘that which nothing there came before’. You may use a caption to mark the start, but ideally not. Ending- ‘that which nothing came after’. Born Zacarias Manuel de la Rocha in Longbeach, California, Zack is a musician, poet and activist. The rapper shot to fame and was...

Clip logs from upcoming documentary by myself and...
This is the standard clip logging format for documentary-used universally.
The finished product of this film should be on this blog within a week or two at tops. My co-conspirator for this project is Omar- joint author of writersblock.
Tape 1 (A-Dog)
0’00”-7’52” Traffic moving down road. (possible slow-mo) trees +drizzly rain. Potentially nice shot with slow mo and light...

How to make a documentary
1. write a shooting script-this way you know what you want to get from your interviews. If you know what you need you won’t stop shooting until you’ve got the footage.
2.Shoot-lots of footage, usually at a ratio of around 30:1. This means for every minute of footage you will eventually use in the final cut, you have to shoot around half an hour of rushes.
3.Log your shots-do not try...
